|
Combine self rising flour with water to make a thick batter consistency.
|

|
Cut potatoes into 1/4 inch thick slices. Pat them dry with paper towels, then dip in batter.

|
Cook in deep fryer or deep skillet/pot like French fries about 10 to 15 minutes, until brown.
|
|
|
Drain on plate covered with paper towel. Sprinkle with salt.
