     SPANISH BEAN SOUP

Ingredients
Ham Hock - large
Onion - medium, chopped
Garbanzo Beans - 2 cans, drained and rinsed
Chorizo - 1 pkg, thinly sliced (2 small sausages)
Potatoes - 2 large, cubed
VIGO seasoning - 1 envelope ( says it's for chicken and yellow rice)
Water
 

Instructions
Simmer ham hock in lots of water. Add onion and potatoes. Take ham hocks out, cut up and toss the fat and skin, chop up the ham and put back in pot Add beans and seasoning and simmer until all done and seems to be right consistency. Will be a little thin - give it the taste test. Will be better after it sits a while, or the next day.
