Stir the sugar, water, and frozen berries in a saucepan over medium high heat. Bring to a boil, then reduce heat and simmer for 5 minutes.
Slice the banana in half lengthwise and place in a bowl. Spoon the vanilla yogurt over the banana halves. Pour the blueberry mixture over the bananas and yogurt and top with the walnuts.
