In a medium saucepan, bring water and salt to a boil over high heat. Stir in the oatmeal and cinnamon. Reduce the heat and simmer for 5 minutes for regular oatmeal or 3 minutes for quick cooking oatmeal stirring constantly. Remove from heat.
Stir in the applesauce,raisins,brown sugar, and vanilla. Serve topped with almonds and milk
