     Dad's Chocolate Cake

Ingredients
1 c sugar
1/2 c butter
1/2 c cocoa
1 egg
1/2 c milk
1 1/2 c flour
1 t baking soda
1 t vanilla
1/2 t salt
 
1/2 c boiling water
Instructions
preheat oven to 350. grease and flour 8x8 or 9x9 pan. cream butter and sugar; add cocoa and egg. med bowl- combine flour, soda, and salt.
combine ingredients together; slowly alternate b/t milk and flour mix, and beat all together with mixer. last- add boiling water slowly.
bake for 25 minutes or until center is set.
