1 lb. uncooked shrimp, no shells, deveined and butterflied
2 TB Butter
1 TB Olive Oil
1 medium Chopped Onion
2 Garlic Cloves - minced
1 Chicken Bouillon or 1 TB Granules
1 Cup White Wine
1 TB Dried Basil (I prefer fresh - 1/4 cup chopped)
1 TSP Dried Oregano
Hot Pepper Flakes
2-3 tomatoes seeded and chopped
10 oz. good pasta
5 oz. spinach pasta
1/4 LB. melted butter
Garlic Bread
Salad
Chilled White Wine (for me)
Instructions
Melt butter and olive oil - add onion, garlic,
bouillon, basil, oregano, pepper flakes and wine.
Boil gently for 12 minutes. Add shrimp for 5
minutes. Add tomatoes and stir lightly
Meanwhile, boil water for pasta and cook according
to directions - both kind can be cooked together,
being mindful of any cooking time differences. Fire
up the oven and prepare garlic bread and salad
according to your liking.
Once pasta is done, drain and add melted butter and
stir. Serve pasta and add pasta sauce mixture over
each dish.
Bon Appetit!
