Ingredients
2 1/2 tsp. mustard powder
2 tsp. sweet paprika
1 tsp. celery salt
1 tsp. onion powder
3/4 tsp. red-pepper flakes
1/2 tsp. garlic powder
1/4 tsp. celery seed
coarse salt
2 slabs baby rack ribs
 
vegetable oil, for grate
Sauce-
1 Tbsp. vegetable oil 1/4 cup brown sugar
1 med onion, finely chopped 1/2 tsp. ground cumin
3 cloves garlic, minced 1/2 tsp. cilantro
coarse salt & pepper 1/2 tsp. celery seed
1 cup ketchup 1/4 tsp. cayenne
1 can beef broth
3/4 cup cider vinegar

Instructions
In a small bowl, combine mustard powder, paprika, celery salt, onion powder, red pepper flakes, garlic powder, celery seed and 1 tsp salt. Rub slabs on both sides with the spice mixture. Refrigerate for 2 hours loosely covered.
preheat oven to 300 F. stack slabs on a double layer of aluminum foil, tightly wrap. place on baking sheet. Cook until meat pulls away from bone...1 1/2 hours.
Heat grill to medium-high heat; lightly oil grates. Carefully remove ribs from foil; pouring off any liquid. Brush both sides with sauce. Grill ribs until sauce is brown and bubbling. 4-5 minutes per side...
SAUCE- In a medium saucepan, heat oil over medium. Add onion and garlic season with salt & pepper. Cook until onion is transulent, 3-5 minutes. Add remaining ingredients; bring to a simmer. Cook; stirring occasionally, until sauce has thickened, about 30 minutes.
