Brussel Sprouts with Garlic and Romano Cheese

1 tsp olive oil
|
|
1 c onion, sliced
|
|
6 cloves garlic
|
|
1/3 c chicken broth
|
|
1 lb brussel sprouts, trimmed and halved
|
|
2 tbsp romano cheese
|
|
salt and pepper to taste
|

|
|
|
|
|
|
|
|
|
|
|
|
|
|
|
|
|
|
|
|
|
|
|
|

Instructions |
|
|
Heat oil in skillet over med-high heat. Add onion and garlic, saute for 3 minutes.
|

|
Add broth and brussel sprouts, bring to a boil. Cover and simmer for 6 minutes or until crisp-tender.
|
|
|
To finish springk 1/4 tsp pepper and 1/8 tsp salt. Spring with romano cheese.
