     Barry's Bread Pudding

Ingredients
6 eggs
2 tsp cinnamon
2 tsp nutmeg
3 1/2 cups sugar
1 quart half and half
2- 2/3 cups milk
12-1/2 cups heels of bread
1/2 cup butter- melted
1/2 cup raisins (optional)
 
3 tsp vanilla
Old Fashioned Sauce
4 eggs
1-3/4 cup milk
2/3 cup sugar
2 tsp vanilla- 1 TB vanilla

Instructions
Mix eggs, cinnamon, nutmeg and sugar together. next, add half and half and milk. Spray Non stick in 9x14 (approx) pan. Tear bread heels apart and place in pan. Add raisens and finish adding bread about 2 inches thick. Pour mixture evenly over bread. Mixture should all be absorbed by bread. Bake at 350 uncovered for 50-60 minutes.
Old Fashioned Vanilla Sauce- Heat over stove until near boil. Remove from stove. Add 1 tb vanilla. Stir and cool.
Serving Suggestions
Great for Christmas breakfast. Can be made ahead. Serves a crowd.
