Preptime   20 min
Wine/Beverage
Recommendations
Beer or Wine & Club Soda (in honor of Gram)

Ingredients
1 stick butter
1 chopped onion (1 cup)
1 chopped green pepper (1 cup)
1 clove garlic (minced)
1 tsp parsely (dry is fine)
1 tsp oregano
dash of tabasco (or more to taste)
pepper (doesn't need salt)
2 small (7.5 ounce) cans of chopped or minced claims

lemon juice
3/4 - 1 cup cup italian breadcrumbs

Instructions
Heat oven to 400 degress. In a small pan Simmer clams and lemon juice in a pan for 5 min.
In a separate pan saute butter, onion, pepper, garlic (add towards the end), parsely, oregano, tabasco and a dash or 2 of pepper - all until soft.
Add breadcrumbs and claims/lemon juice to the sauteed mixture and mix together to combine.
Put in serving dish and cook in the oven (covered) for 15-20 minutes. You can also make it ahead and freeze it if you don't want to bake it then. You can also use to stuff clams or mushrooms....very versatile --)
Serving Suggestions
Comes out very hot - so serve warm with club crackers.
