1 c. brown sugar
|

1 c. white sugar
|
|
1 c. evaporated milk
|

1 T. corn syrup
|

1/4 c. butter or 1/2 cube

1 t. vanilla

1 c. nuts, optional

Instructions |
|
|
Combine brown sugar, white sugar, evaporated milk and corn syrup. Mix and boil slowly. Wipe sides, clean with a paper towel.

Add butter. Cook to soft ball stage or 235 to 240 degrees. Cool. Beat until creamy.
|

|
Add vanilla and nuts, if desired.

Suggestions |
|
Pour into a 9 inch square pan. Cool. Cut fudge. Cover pan with saran wrap or wrap each individual piece.
