     Unstuffed Pepper Bake

Ingredients
1 Pound Lean Ground Beef
1/3 Cup Chopped Onion
1/2 Cup Diced Green Pepper
1/2 Cup Diced Yellow Pepper
1/2 Cup Diced Red Pepper
2 Garlic Cloves, minced
1/2 Teaspoon Salt
1/4 Teaspoon Ground Black Pepper
1 14 Ounce can Diced Tomatoes, drained
 
1 1/2 Cups Cooked Brown Rice, cooled
1 Teaspoon Worchestershire Sauce
1 Teaspoon Italian Seasoning
8 Ounces Shredded Sharp Cheddar Cheese, divided
1 15 Ounce Can Tomato Sauce

Instructions
Preheat oven to 375 degrees.
Cook ground beef, onions, peppers and garlic for 10 minutes or until beef is browned and vegetables are tender. Drain off excess fat and season with salt and pepper.
Stir in diced tomatoes, rice, worchestershire saice and italian seasoning. Remove from heat and stir in 1 cup of the cheese.
Spread misture into a 9x13 sprayed baking pan, top with tomato sauce and test of cheese. Bake uncovered for 20 minutes, until heated through and cheese is melted and bubbly. Let stand 5 minutes befor serving.
