Bake in 2 - 9 inch pans at 350 degrees for 30-35 minutes
Combine oil and sugar, then beat in egg yolks.
Add raw grated carrots
Fold in sifted dry ingredients and nuts.
Fold in stiffly beaten egg whites.
While the cake is cooking combine and mix all the ingredients for the cream cheese icing.
Let the cake cool then ice and serve
