     Bran Banana Bread

2 cups all purpose flour
1 tsp. baking powder
1/2 tsp. baking soda
1/2 tsp. salt
1 1/2 cups mashed, fully ripe bananas
2 1/2 cups Kelloggs 40% Bran Flakes
1/2 cup margarine or butter, softened
3/4 cup sugar
1/2 cup coarsely chopped nuts

Stir together flour, baking powder, soda and salt.
Combine mashed bananas and cereal, let stand 2 minutes. In a large mixing bowl, beat margarine and sugar. Beat in eggs and cereal mixture.
Stir in flour mixture and nuts. Spread in greased 9x5x3 inch loaf pan.
Bake at 350 degrees for about 1 hour or until done. Let cool 10 minutes before removing from pan. Cool completely
