1 Tbsp EVOO
|

1 lb spicy Italian sausage
|

1 onion- chopped
|

4 cloves garlic, minced
|

1 914.5) can chicken broth
|

1 tsp dried basil
|
|
1 (10oz) pkg frozen spinach
|
|
1 (14.5) can diced tomatoes
|
|

Instructions |
|
|
bring pot to boiling water- cook pasta 8-10 minutes (al-dente) drain and reserve
|
|
|
In large skillet, heat oil, cook sausage- during the last 5 minutes add onion and garlic- addbroth, basil tomatoes with liquid
|
|
|
Cook 5 minutes, slightly reduce- add chopped spinach- cover skillet and simmer- reduce until spinach is tender
|
|
|
Add pasta to skillet- mix- sprinkle cheese
|
