Beat butter and shortening. Add sugar, baking powder, and salt. Beat in egg and egg yolks, as well as vanilla. Beat in flour.
Move 3/4 cup of dough to another bowl. Add powdered sugar, melted butter, and cocoa (mix).
Shape chocolate dough into 1 in. balls.
Add almond extract to the leftover dough. Roll the almond dough flat and roll over the chocolate dough balls. Immediately roll ball in sprinkles. Bake at 375 degrees for 10 minutes.
