     Mexican Cornbread

Ingredients
1 1/2 cups cornmeal
1 can cream corn
1 cup buttermilk
1/2 cup vegetable oil
2 eggs (beaten)
1 Tblspn baking powder
1 tsp salt
1 tsp sugar
2 jalapeno peppers (seeded & minced)
 
1/4 cup chopped onion
2 Tblspn green belle pepper (minced)
1 cup sharp cheddar cheese (shredded)

Instructions
Combine all ingredients except cheese into a bowl and mix well.
Pour half the mixture into a greased pan. Top with the cheese. Add remaining mixture. Bake at 450 for 30 min or until done. @223 cal
