Ingredients
1 can crushed pineapple
1/4 cup nuts
1 can pie filling or fresh fruit
1 box cake mix
2 sticks butter
 
Instructions
In a casserole dish spread the whole can of crushed pineapple to cover the bottom as the first layer. DO NOT DRAIN. Sprinkle all the 1/4 cup of nuts of your choice over the pineapple for your 2nd layer. Dump 1 box of dry cake mix of your choice for the 3rd layer. Finally, dot the top with slivers of butter.
Bake at 400 degrees for 45 minutes or until golden brown. Remove from oven and let stand for 10-15 minutes. Serve with whipped cream or ice cream on top.
