Cream sugar, shortening - add sour milk.
Sift dry ingredients together - add to milk
mixture.
Put in paper cups
375 degrees for 20 minutes. Cool
Makes about 12-15 depending on size of muffin
cups.
For Sauce- Add sugar to beaten eggs. Beat together
until light and frothy. Spoon over split cupcake.
(Sauce will separate if stored - may be rebeaten to
regain froth).
