1c. chopped onion

1 1/2 cups chopped peppers

2 fresh jalapeno's, chopped (maybe less, depending on desired level of spiciness)

2 cloves garlic
|

2 t. cumin
|
|
1/2 t. salt
|
|
1/2 t. oregano
|
|
|
|
3 1/2 c. chicken broth
|
|
shredded monterey jack cheese
|
|
broken tortilla chips (optional)

Instructions |
|
|
In a slow cooker combine the beans, chicken, onion, pepper,
jalapeno, garlic, cumin, salt, and oregano. Stir in the chicken broth.

Cover and cook on low for 8-10 hours or on high for 4 to 5 hours.

|
Serve topped with cheese and/or tortilla chips
