400F. Peel and core the apples; cut in thin slices. Mix together the sugar, flour and
cinnamon. Pour over the apples and toss lightly. Roll out half the pastry and line a 9 inch pie
pan. Roll out remaining pastry for the top crust.
Turn apples into the pastry-lined pan; dot with butter. Adjust top crust over the apples. Trim
the edges; seal and flute. Bake 50 to 60 minutes or until brown.
