     Brazil Nut Date Cake

1 1/2 cups Brazil nuts
1 1/2 cups pecans
1/2 cup candied pineapple
4 oz. whole pitted dates
8 oz. jar cherries - drained
4 eggs - slightly beaten
1 cup self-rising flour
3/4 cup sugar
1 teaspoon vanilla

Cut pineapple to 1 inch sections. Put other fruit and nuts in whole. Add flour and sugar and coat fruit and nuts. Add beaten eggs and vanilla to fruit and nut mixture. Mix well. Pour into greased and waxpaper-lined loaf pan. Bake at 300 degrees for 1 hour and 45 minutes.
