     GERMAN CHOCOLATE ICING

Ingredients
1 c evaporated milk
1 c sugar
3 egg yolks
1/2 c butter or margarine
1 tsp vanilla
1 1/3 c flaked coconut
1 c chopped pecans
 

Instructions
Combine evaporated milk, sugar, egg yolks, butter & vanilla in small saucepan. Cook & stir over medium heat until thick, about 12 minutes. Stir in coconut & pecans. Beat until thick enough to spread. This is the best icing, even though I cheat & make the German chocolate cake from a mix. But then, the icing makes the cake.
