Make up a dough as you would for biscuits, or you can use 3 cups of prepared biscuit mix. Roll dough into round balls around a cube of cheese in the center. Drop balls into hot tomato soup (diluted with 1/2 soup can of water) and cook slowly until dough is cooked through; about 15-20 minutes. Keep lid on tightly; do not peek. Serve dumplings with soup as sauce. Add more water to soup before thte next batch of dumplings is cooked.
