Plain flapjacks
1. Set the oven. Grease the baking tin. Put the butter, sugar, and
maple syrup or honey in a large pan and melt over a low heat.
2. Take the pan off the heat. Add the oats and salt to the butter
mixture and mix everything together well.
3. Tip the mixture into the baking tin and press it down firmly.
Bake for 20 to 30 minutes until golden brown.
4. Cut the flapjacks into squares and leave them to cool in the tin.
Once they have completely cooled take them out of the tin.
