1 cup margarine or butter (3/4 cup when using peanut butter)
1 cup packed brown sugar
1/2 cup granulated sugar
1/2 tsp baking soda
2 eggs
1 tsp vanilla
2 1/2 cups all purpose flour
optional 3/4 cup of peanut butter (add with eggs)
Instructions
1. In a large mixing bowl beat the butter with electric mixer for 30
seconds. Add brown sugar, granulated sugar, and baking soda.
Beat until fluffy. Add eggs and vanilla, beat until combined.
2. Beat or stir in flour. Use dough immediately or cover and chill
for up to 24 hours. Bake in 375 degree oven for 8-9 minutes.
