Preheat oven to 400 degrees. Grease a 12 x 9 inch baking pan. Set aside. Remove all excess fat from chicken, particularly that which lies in the body cavity, then cut into serving pieces. Rinse and dry the meat thoroughly. Dip in milk, then in cornflake crumbs which have been thoroughly combined with oregano, salt and pepper. Let stand so that coating with adhere. Place chicken in the prepared baking pan. Do not crowd; pieces should not touch. Bake until crumbs form a crisp skin, about 45 minutes.
