     Sour Cream Pound Cake

2 sticks butter, room temperature
3 cups sugar
6 eggs, room temperature
3 cups all-purpose flour
1/4 tsp baking soda
1/4 tsp baking powder
1/8 tsp salt
1 cup sour cream, room temperature
1 tsp vanilla, lemon or almond flavoring
Preheat oven to 325 degrees

Cream sugar and sugar until light and fluffy. Add eggs. one at a time. Sift flour, soda powder, salt into butter mixture. Add sour cream and flavoring. Mix well on medium speed for 2 minutes. Pour into prepared tube pan. Bake for 1 hour and 15 minutes.
