     Favorite Meatloaf

Ingredients
Eggs, lightly beaten - 2
Ketchup - 3/4 cup (175 ml)
Water or milk - 1/2 cup (125 ml)
Dry bread crumbs - 1 1/2 cups (350 ml)
Envelope dry onion soup - 1
Ground beef - 2 lbs (900 g)
Salt - 1 tsp (5 ml)
Pepper - 1/2 tsp (2 ml)
 
Ketchup - 1/4 cup (60 ml)
FOR CHEEZY MEATLOAF:
Cheddar - 1 cup (250 ml) or more

Instructions
Mix first 8 ingredients together in bowl. Pack into 9 x 5 x 3 inch (23 x 12 x 7 cm) loaf pan.
Smooth ketchup over top. Bake uncovered in 350 degree F (180 degree C) oven for 1 to 1 1/2 hours.
FOR CHEEZY MEATLOAF: Add 1 cup (250 ml) or more grated medium cheddar cheese to meat or put cheese in a layer in center of loaf.
Serving Suggestions
Yummy served with garlic mashed potatoes and a side of corn and peas.
