     Canning - Pineapple Spears

Ingredients
2 Pineapples, peeled cored and quartered
2 c honey syrup blend
Honey Syrup Blend-
Thin Honey-
1 cup mild honey
4 cups water
Medium Honey-
 
3 C mild honey
3 c water
Heat water to warm, stir in honey to blend. Cool to room temperature

Instructions
Cut the pineapple pieces about 1 inch shorter than the pint jars or about 5 inches long. Combine the pineappl and the syrup in a heavy saucepan or a dutch oven.
Boil for 7 minutes. Divide the fruit evenly pack in the jars and cover with syrup, leaving 1/2 inch of headspace. cap and seal.
Process in boiling water bath canner for 30 minutes. Three 1 pint jars
Packed in a special honey syrup these pineapple spears are a treat you wont find in the store. Use tem to garnish your next pork roast, serve as a dessert or give as a gift.
