1 lb (or more!) frozen spinach (or other green veggie)
1 teaspoon paprika, tumeric or cumin (depending on your mood)
~1 tablespoon or more Healthy Seasoned Salt (recipe on this sight)
lots of butter!
Instructions
Soak brown rice in 4 cups warmed filtered water overnight or at
least 7 hours. (Save 1 cup of soak water and refrigerate for next
brown rice batch! Makes it more easily digested!)
When ready to prepare the rest of the meal, rinse rice and add
another 4 cups water. Bring to a boil and then lower heat to
simmer and cover. Done in ~40 minutes or so.
In a large skillet with lid or dutch oven, carmelize onions in coconut
oil. Add garlic (and carrots, optional) till fragrant.
Add your choice of seasonings to cooked veggies minus the salt.
Cook a minute till fragrant. Add ground beef and cook till done.
Add your choice of green veggie and salt. Cook to till done.
Add a nice hunk or two of butter and stir.
Combine cooked rice and beef/veggie mixture.
