     Pasta In Mushroom Garlic Sauce

Ingredients
1 1/2 C. Pasta (uncooked) Penne/Bowtie
2 C. White Button Mushrooms (roughly chopped)
2-3 Chopped Garlic Cloves
3-4 Tbsp. Parmesan Cheese
1 Tsp. Dried Oregano
1 Tsp. Red Chili Flakes
1 Vegetable Stock Cube
1 C. Milk
1 Tbsp. Flour
 
Salt & Pepper (to taste)
1/8 Tsp. Garam Masala (optional)
1/4 C. Green Peas (frozen)
1 Tbsp. Olive Oil

Instructions
1. Saute the green peas in 1 tbsp. oil on medium heat until tender, don't overcook. Set aside. Add the chopped garlic in the remaining oil and saute 30 seconds, add in the mushrooms and cook until light brown and all the water evaporates. Add in the chili flakes, oregano, garam masala, vegetable stock cube, and salt and pepper, stir. Sprinkle the flour and saute the mixture for 1 minute, till the flour is light golden.
Add in the milk slowly and cook until it thickens a little bit while stirring. Sprinkle the Parmesan cheese and take off the flame. Cool it down a little bit and blend it in the blender. Taste for seasoning and set aside.
Cook the pasta al dente and quickly mix with the mushroom sauce. Throw in the peas and garnish with Parmesan.
