     Pumpkin Orange Bread

1 1/2 c. sugar
1 c. shortening
2 eggs
1 c. cooked pumpkin
1/2 c. undiluted frozen o.j.
1 2/3 c. flour
1/2 c. chopped nuts
1/2 t. cinnamon
1/2 t. nutmeg
1/2 t. cloves
1 t. soda
1/2 t. baking powder
1/2 t. allspice
3/4 t. salt

Cream shortening & sugar;add eggs, pumpkin, & 1/4 c. o.j.; beat well. Add dry ingredients & mix well. Bake in greased and floured 9x5 pan for 1 hour at 350. Let cool 5 minutes in pan & then remove and poke small holes with a toothpick & slowly pour over the remaining o.j. allowing juice to be absorbed. Let stand 1/2 hour before serving.
