Cream shortening & sugar;add eggs, pumpkin, & 1/4 c. o.j.; beat well. Add dry ingredients & mix well. Bake in greased and floured 9x5 pan for 1 hour at 350.
Let cool 5 minutes in pan & then remove and poke small holes with a toothpick & slowly pour over the remaining o.j. allowing juice to be absorbed. Let stand 1/2 hour before serving.
