Line a baking sheet with foil.
Arrange bacon slices on foil an place in cold oven on center rack. Close oven door. Turn oven on to 400. Walk away.
Come back 17-20 minutes later. As soon as bacon is golden brown, but not extremely crisp, it depends on thickness of bacon slices, and also how quickly oven reaches temperature.
Remove pan from oven. Transfer bacon to another pan lined with paper towels.
