Cook pasta and drain well. In a large skillet melt 2 tablespoons of butter. Stir in broccoli, carrots, onion and garlic. Cook and stir over medium-high heat about 3 minutes or until broccoli is crisp-tender. Stir in pea pods and chicken. Cook for two more minutes.
Stir in cooked pasta, remaining butter, the cashwes or almonds, thyme and pepper. Cover and cook one more minute. Transfer to warm serving plate. Sprinkle with Parmesan cheese.
