     W.L. School Chicken Casserole

Ingredients
2 lb butter
7 lb flour
1 jar onion flakes or 9 large white onions
4 large bunches celery
2 cans powdered sage
1 box salt
1 can white pepper
black pepper
12 loaves day old bread
 
8 cans whole chicken
Gravy
1/4 lb butter
salt and pepper
1 T. chiken base
4-5 qt broth
3 - c flour

Instructions
Spray roaster pans with Pam. Layers- chicken ground skins, gizzards, heats onion celery , diced small cubed bread, sprinkled with water until quite sticky and damp, mixed with sage, pepper and salt. Pour gravy over top and let soak down into chicken. Use spoons and spatulas to see that gravy gets all the way through. Bake at 350.
