Bring large pot to boil, cook penne till al dente, 12 minutes. OPTIONAL- then cook pancetta in large saucepan until crisp (4 mins) dry on paper towel.
Go back to saucepan put on medium heat, add onion and garlic, cook until onion is translucent, increase heat ot high add vodka, let boil. Boil until its reduced to half. Stir in tomatoes, half and half, worcestershire sauce and red pepper.
Let simmer and thicken for about 10 minutes. Drain your pasta, serve topped with sprinkled pancetta, basil and pepper.
