Place roast on very large piece of heavy duty foil that is large enough to fold and roll. Sprinkle onion soup mix on both sides of the roast and place mushrooms on top. Make packet with the foil and place in crock pot on low 8 to 10 hours with about 1 cup of water in bottom.
