1 c fresh or frozen cranberries, partially thawed, halved
1/2 c chopped peeled apple
1 c apple juice or water
1 T oil
1 t almond extract
1/3 c sliced almonds
1 T apple jelly, warmed
OVen to 350 degrees. Grease bottom of 9x5 loaf pan. Combien all but almonds and jelly, just till moistened. Pour into pan, sprinkle with almonds. Bake 55-65 minutes, toothpick test. Cool completely. Wrap tightly and store in fidge. Just before serving, brush with warm apple jelly.
two 5x3 loaf pans can be used, or eight 4 1/2x2 1/2 loaf pans. Bake at 350 degrees still, 5x3 takes 40-50 minutes. 4 1/2 x 2 1/2 takes 30-40 minutes.
