1 cup Margarine (for richer taste, use half butter & half margarine)
1 cup sugar
1 teaspoon tartar
2 eggs
2.5 cup flour
1/2 teaspoon baking soda
Dash of vanilla
Dash of lemon extract
Instructions
Dough - Cream margarine and sugar. Add eggs. Sift dry ingredients. If eggs are are large, add more flour (to thicken the dough. Chill 1-2 hours. Roll out with flour (not too thin).
Frosting - Put powdered sugar into a bowl. Add water to get a paste. Add tartar to taste.
Colored Sugar - Put sugar in a bowl. Add a drop of food coloring. Mix. Add more coloring to get color of choice.
