     Scalloped Potatoes

Servings   4 to 6

Ingredients
3 Tbs Butter
2 Tbs All Purpose Flour
1 1/2 Tsp Salt
1/8 Tsp Pepper
3 Cups Milk
6 Medium Potatoes, Pared and Thinly Sliced (6 Cups)
2 Tbs Chopped Onion
3-4 Cups of Shredded Cheese
 
Optional Ingredients-
1 Tsp Chicken Pollo
1 Lb Cooked Crispy Bacon

Instructions
Make the white sauce from the first 5 ingredients.
Place half the potatoes in greased 2 Quart Casserole Dish. Cover with half the onion and half the sauce. Repeat layers. Cover and Bake 350 Degrees about 1 hour. Uncover and bake 30 mins longer.
Mary Ann's Sauce...Put Butter and onions in pan to saute. I omit salt but add alot of pepper. Mix flour and cold milk, add about 1 tsp of Pollo. Add milk mixture to pan. Stir until thickens. Do not over heat. Jon's Potatoes...I add Cooked crispy bacon to my layers. Also I top it off with cheese and bacon.
