This tastes better if you have bacon or sausage grease, if you do not you can use oil. You will need about 2-3 T. of oil or grease. Mix the flour with the grease over med heat until it is thickened. Once thickened add milk. Cook until you reach the thickness you desire. If it is not thickening the way you like you can add more flour to thicken or milk to thin. Then flavor with salt and pepper.
