Melt butter then mix in vanilla and coffee. Stir until coffee is
dissolved (a whisk helps).
Add sugar, eggs, baking soda, baking powder and mix well.
Stir in chocolate chips, and the add flour 1 cup at a time.
Roll dough into walnut size balls and roll in granulated sugar in you
want. Place on cookie sheet (covered with parchment paper or
greased) and bake at 350 for 10 - 12 minutes.
Cool 1- 2 minutes before removing from cookie sheet.
