     Salad- Strawberry Spinach

Ingredients
1/2 c. canola oil
1/4 c. chopped onion
2 T. - 2 tsp. red wine vinegar
2 T. - 2 tsp. sugar
1/2 tsp. salt
1 1/2 tsp. poppy seeds
8 C. torn, fresh spinach
3 green onions, sliced
2 pints fresh strawberries, sliced
 
1/2 c. slivered almonds, toasted
Instructions
Process first 5 ingredients (oil through salt) in blender until sugar dissolved.
Add poppy seeds and blend.
Combine rest of ingredients in salad bowl, then drizzle with dressing.
