     Apple Pudding Cake

2 cups sugar
1/2 cup margarine
2 eggs
4 cups shredded, peeled apples
2 cups flour
2 tsp soda
2 tsp cinnamon
1/2 tsp nutmeg
1 tsp salt
1 cups chopped nuts
Carmel Sauce-
1/2 cup butter
1 cup sugar
1/2 cup light cream (evaporated milk)
1 1/2 tsp vanilla

Cream sugar, margarine and eggs. Then add peeled, shredded apples. Add remaining ingredients. Mix well and bake at 350 degrees for 40 minutes in a 9 x 13 well greased pan. Do not over bake.
Carmel Sauce- Heat butter, cream and sugar over low heat. Do not boil, then add vanilla and a dash of nutmeg. You may want to double the caramel sauce.
