     Roast Chicken/Chicken Legs Recipe

Ingredients
1 whole chicken or 3-4 chicken legs with skin on
1/4 TBSP ollive oil
1 TBSP ginger/garlic paste
1 tsp salt
1 tsp pepper
1 tsp red pepper
1 tsp parsley
1 medium onion chopped
1 lemon
 
1/4 cup water with 1 cube of maggie mixed in it
1 roasting pan

Instructions
Wash and clean the chicken or the chicken legs. Pat dry with paper towels. In a small bowl, mix in the olive oil, garlic paste, sat, pepper, red chilli pepper, parsley flakes and rub over the chicken/chicken legs thoroughly
Put in a bowl/dish, cover with glad wrap and leave in the fridge to marinate overnight
To cook, heat your oven up to 300 degrees F. If roasting a whole chicken, put the chopped onion and lemon in the cavity and and cover with tin foil and put in the roasting pan. Pour the maggie water in at the bottom. If you want, you can also put chopped veggies like carrots and potatoes at the bottom of the pan. For chicken legs, put the chopped onion and lemon around the legs on the bottom of the pan and then pour the maggie water. Cover with foil
Bake at 300 degrees F for about 2 hours and then remove the foil and cook for another 1/2 hour or until the inside of the chicken legs is no longer pink and if clear juice comes out of the whole chicken when you put a knife into the side.
Serving Suggestions
Serve hot with rice or a salad
