3/4 lb. Italian turkey sausage links, casings removed
2 t. olive oil
1 sweet onion, thinly sliced
1/2 c. loosely packed fresh basil leaves, thinly sliced
1/2 c. half-and-half cream
Shaved Parmesan cheese, opt.
Instructions
Cook spaghetti according to pkg. directions. Meanwhile, in a lg. nonstick skillet over med. heat, cook sausage in oil for 5 min. Add onion; cook 8-10 min. longer or until meat is no longer pink & onion is tender.
Stir in tomatoes & basil; heat through. Add cream; bring to a boil. Drain spaghetti; toss with sausage mixture. Garnish with Parmesan cheese if desired.
