Ingredients
3.6 Cups of Self-Raising Flour
8 Tablespoons of Butter
0.25 Cups of Caster Sugar
A Pinch of Salt
A Cup of Milk
 

Instructions
1. For a fan assister oven, put temperature to 400 degrees Fahrenheit. For non-assister 425. 2.You want to handle it as little as possible, so mixers can be a good idea. 3. Put all the ingredients together, and mix. It shouldn't be too sticky to handle, but if this happens, add a little more flour.
4. Put flour on the surface and place the dough out pressing down evenly, but keeping it quite thick. 5. Press out shapes with a cutter and place on a greased tray.
6. Put the scones in the oven for around ten minutes then bring out to cool on a rack. 7. Add some butter and jam and enjoy!
