     Chicken Tikka Masala

Ingredients
INGREDIENTS FOR CURRY
1 container of Tomatoes bisque from Safeway
1 small can of tomato sauce
2 teaspoons crushed garlic (soak in water)
3 bay leaves
2 small cinnamon sticks
5-6 cloves
2 teaspoons of dry kasuri methi (fenugreek dry leaves) from an Indian store
1 teaspoon of garam masala (RAJAH brand) from an Indian store
 
1 teaspoon of tandoori masala (RAJAH brand) fron an Indian store
2 tablespoons of olive oil
INGREDIENTS FOR TANDOORI CHICKEN
1lb boneless chicken cut in very small pieces
1 cup of yoghurt
1 teaspoon of crushed garlic and ginger each
2 tablespoons of tandoori masala
pinch of red food color

Instructions
METHOD TO MARINATE- Marinate the chicken in all the above ingredients for over night if possible, or at least for 4-5 hrs. Bake in a tray at 350 degrees in the oven till cooked. Keep aside.
METHOD FOR CURRY- Heat oil in a pan; then add bay leaves, cinnamon sticks, cloves. Add the can of Tomato bisque, then the small can of tomato sauce. Strain the garlic and add just the water. Add garam masala, tandoori masala and fenugreek leaves. Let it boil for about 5 mins, then add the baked chicken pieces. Let it cook for another 5 mins, then it is ready to be served with naan or rice.
