12 oz dried cheese tortellini (i like Barilla Three cheese)
1 25 oz jar tomato sauce
1/4 cup cream
4 oz fresh mozzarella
fresh basil
Instructions
Preheat over 450 degrees. Bring a pot of water to a boil. add tortellini and 1 tablespoon salt and cook, stirring often, until tender. Drain tortellini and tranfer to a 13 x 9 inch baking dish.
Combine tomato sauce and cream, then pour over tortellini. Slice mozzarella very thinly and lay on top.
Bake until cheese is melted and sauce is hot throughout, about 15 minutes. Shred 2 tablespoons basil, sprinkle over top and serve.
